They function as loops in which form and minimalist action are brought to the forefront. The videos invert the viewer’s intended experience with these virtual environments by removing the agency of its audience, relegating them to the role of passive voyeur. Caress explores the problematic issues of misogyny embedded within the male gaze of first-person shooters.
